Welcome (back) to Catalunya!
wedding events will be taking place in an area between the cities of barcelona, girona & vic.
the wedding day itself takes place near a town called moiÀ ("moy-Yah"), around 1 hour north of barcelona.
THE pre-event takes place in maria's hometown, santa coloma de farners.
ACCOMMODATION SITUATION
For those of you coming from outside of spain, we want to take some of the hard work away from you, and make sure you get to spend some quality time together. As such, we have booked a handful of large houses near to the venue. we'll let you know more details after you've rsvp'd!
GETTING TO SPAIN
We recommend getting flights into either Barcelona or Girona aiRPORT. We'd recommend not leaving flight booking until last minute, as prices do tend to shoot up for the summer season.
GETTING TO YOUR ACCOMMODATION
IF YOU'RE DOWN FOR staying in the accommodation we have reserved for you, We’ll send you exact details on your accommodation.
The area around the wedding is rural, so a car is best. however, public transport should be able to get you to local towns, and then taxis can be booked to your accomModation as needed.
GETTING TO AND FROM THE PRE-EVENT
FOR THOSE STAYING IN RESERVED ACCOMMODATION, A minivan will pick you up from your location at 5pm, and will bring you back for 11pm. WE'LL SEND YOU MORE details closer to the time.
if you've booked separate accommodation, we'll try to sort something out for you.
GETTING TO AND FROM THE WEDDING
FOR THOSE STAYING IN RESERVED ACCOMODATION, A minivan will pick you up from your LOCATION at 4.30pm. Shuttle services will run between houses at 2am. If you want to leave earlier, let us know and we can look into taxis.
